America in local Florida, Illinois, and Mississippi newspapers with circulation to the districts of Reps. C. W. Young and Dennis Haestert and Sen. Trent Lott.  The ad headline reads:  "Leadership is vital to increase support for research across disclipines."  Copy available upon request.
17 July 2000 Full page ad in Roll Call newspaper by the Savings Coalition of America (listing IEEE-USA as a member) urging Congress to uncap the IRA contribution limit (supporting efforts to pass H.R. 1102).
